A Trip to Bandon Oregon
We had alot of fun and actually walked about 7 miles on the second day of our trip. The coastline there is the type with shear cliffs towering over the beaches and huge mountainous rocks rising up out of the ocean a ways away from the beach. When you look out at the ocean it looks like it should be a painting.
We stayed at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock on beach loop drive. The room we stayed in wasn’t an ocean view room but the beach was actually right acrossed the street. I enjoyed a nice walk up and down the beach at about 8 in the morning. For a great deal in the winter just ask for the “Storm Watcher’s Special”. They usually give you 50% on whatever room you get. We stayed in a beautiful $108 a night room for $54 a night. Very nice!
We had our fair share of craziness too! We most certainly have an upcoming list of the top 10 things for couples not to forget when going on a romantic trip to the Oregon Coast. Amanda will also most certainly write about me “flailing” around with a digital camera in my hands just before I fell on my backside in the sand. I will probably right about my experience with a miniature tidal wave that tried to take me out by jumping the jetty and dropping a hundred pounds of water on me.
We’ll get the camera working again soon! I’ve also almost got the Bandon Oregon page up and running so we’ll have a place to put the ton of stories and pictures we are going to add really soon.
