Lincoln City Budget Lodgings

Going to the Oregon coast is fun and relaxing. Lincoln City is no different. Finding budget motels may be the hardest part about planning a trip to Lincoln City. There’s always camping, but if you prefer a room here are some budget lodgings I’ve found.

Captain Cook Inn is located at 2626 NE Highway 101 in Lincoln City. This restored motel is only a few blocks from the beach. All rooms have cable t.v., in room coffe service, free Wi Fi internet, hair dryers, alarm clocks, and direct dial phones with free local calls. There is also a microwave and refrigerator in every room. Spring rates as of April 2009 range from $59-$99 mid-week. Weekend rates are $79-$109.

Econo Lodge is another inexpensive place to stay. As of April 2009 rates are $54.99-$69.99. This motel is located at 1713 NW 21 Street in Lincoln City. This motel offers free wireless internet, free continental breakfast, free local calls and free coffee in the lobby. You may also get free weekday newspapers. Triple A is accepted here and dogs are allowed in the rooms for an additional charge.

Ttthe Edgecliff Motel is usually a little more spendy but they are having a special. The rooms are all ocean view so that is an extra bonus. For a limited time this motel is offering a 2 night stay in a Studio Queen room for 2 for only $125 plus tax. This room along with the ocean view has a fireplace, balcony, refrigerator and microwave. This offer excludes weekends and holidays.

The Ester Lee Motel has mid-week rates between $57 and $69 a night for 2 people. Weekend and holiday rates are $91-$111. These rates do not include tax. This motel is located at 3803 S Highway 101 in Lincoln City. These rates are good through June 14, 2009.

I could not find rates for the Farmer’s Daughter Hotel but they do have some special offers. America’s Best Value Inn and Suites also has some of the same offers. Some of these offers are the Frequent Stay Guest Program. In this program you get a stamp for each night you stay. If you have 10 stamps you get a one night free stay. Corporate travelers are elligible for the Corporate Hotel Discount which will save 10%. Seniors also save 10%. You must be at least 50 to get this. AAA members also save 10%.

Motel 6 is also a budget motel. Rates for a room for 2 people per night are $54.99 as of April 2009. This motel is located at 3517 N Highway 101.

The Sailor Jack Ocean Front Motel has clean rooms in a quiet setting. All rooms have an ocean view. All rooms have a flat screen t.v., dvd player, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and beach access. This motel has a sauna and sundeck. Rates now through June 30, 2009 are $59.99-$159.99 mid-week. Weekend rates start at $89.99. These rates are for 2 people and don’t include tax. WiFi is available in selected rooms.

The Seagull Beach Front Motel has rooms that also have an ocean view. All rooms have a refrigerator, microwave, t.v. and showtime. Spring rates are now until June 26. Rates are $63-$150 per night mid-week for 2 people plus tax. Weekend and holiday rates are $90-$225.

For a basic room at the Whistling Winds Motel for 2 people from now until May rates are $55 plus tax. Weekend rates are $65 a night plus tax. These rooms have a queen bed, WiFi, cable t.v., refrigerator and microwave.

There are a lot of places to camp or rooms to stay in at Lincoln City. These are the few I found to be the least expensive. There are also plenty of Bed and Breakfasts and Vacation Rentals in Lincoln City. Have fun exploring.
