Here is a picture I took with a dying digital camera on Friday. It’s probably my favorite of our recent trip to Bandon Oregon. I had to aim the camera without the display and just push the button as the digital camera would die as soon as the display came on. Hopefully we will eventually secure a better camera for taking pictures on our trips.

Face Rock and Table Rock on a beautiful day in the middle of Oregon winter
Here is a photo of face rock off the coast of Bandon Oregon. We stayed at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock which was pretty much just acrossed the street. The Inn at Face Rock actually has rooms where you can see some of these rocks through your window.

All of the cliff faces and rocky beaches that characterize the Bandon Oregon coastline make for some of the most beautiful beaches and ocean views I’ve ever seen. When the tide gets more active waves will dash up against the rocks throwing ocean spray high up into the air.

On moonlit nights the light reflects of constantly moving waves and highlights the faces of rocks and cliffs while leaving opposite faces in shadow. It is almost surreal. We will try to get some of these moonlight pictures next time we take a trip to the coast.
